Talia is a passionate and motivated practitioner, who is dedicated to assisting clients to enrich their lives. She provides the support and guidance to allow clients to develop a greater awareness of themselves. By gently uncovering the underlying issues causing dissatisfaction in our daily lives, Talia believes we can discover how to live in a more authentic and meaningful way.
Through her background in medicine, Talia developed a strong interest in people, relationships and the complexities of the human mind and as a result she undertook three years of Psychiatry training before shifting her focus to humanistic psychotherapeutic training. Her diverse experience in the areas of Adult, Child & Adolescent, Perinatal & Geriatric Psychiatry assist her in her therapeutic work with individuals and families.
Talia believes in the importance of an integrative approach tailored to each individual client, has an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and is currently training in Gestalt Psychotherapy. She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, however her specific areas of interest are in Child and Adolescent issues and Antenatal and Postnatal Depression and Anxiety.
